Undergraduate Program:
The Department offers a four-year program leading to the degree of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance. A student must complete a minimum of 128 credit units, which include 59 credits of core courses in various fields of finance and 18 credits in related electives. The undergraduate program's integrated curriculum is designed to prepare our graduates to be effective and responsible managers in today's dynamic business environment. The BBA in Finance also aims to provide a solid foundation for graduate study.

2024 Degree Requirement

Master Program:
The Graduate Institute of Finance offers a two-year program leading to the degree of Master of Science (MS) in finance. A minimum of 41 credits of coursework plus a master's thesis are required for the MS degree. Required courses include financial management, Investment analysis, Financial markets and institutions, Econometrics (I), Seminar on Finance. An extensive variety of specialized electives are also offered. Graduates from our MS program are in high demand in industry and have been successfully placed in key positions in major industries.
The department also offers an In-Service MS Program specifically designed for business professionals currently working full time. A minimum of three years of full time work experience in a related business area is required for consideration for admission to the program. Courses are offered during weekends. Graduates are expected to assume key leadership roles in industry or become high-level business executives.

PH.D Program:
The Ph.D. Program offers advanced graduate level courses and training in research for highly qualified and motivated individuals with interest in academic research. Graduates from the Doctoral program in finance will be well prepared for careers in academia or highly influential research positions with the government or private sector. Students will be exposed to advanced concepts in finance and are expected to be able to do high-quality research leading to publication in recognized academic journals in finance. Courses cover the entire spectrum of finance.
