2025 International Conference for Financial Engineering Association of Taiwan

Call for Papers

The Financial Engineering Association of Taiwan (FeAT), the Department of Finance at National Chung Cheng University, and the Department of Finance and Banking at National Chi Nan University will jointly host the 2025 International Conference for Financial Engineering Association of Taiwan on June 13, 2025 (Friday). The conference theme is “New Generation of Finance - Intelligent Technology and Sustainable Innovation.”

We are honored to have internationally renowned scholars as keynote speakers:

  • S. Ghon Rhee (Professor of International Finance, Shidler College of Business, University of Hawaii; Founding Editor, Pacific Basin Finance Journal), and
  • Yi-Chun Chen (Professor of Economics and Director of Risk Management Institute, National University of Singapore).

Additionally, industry leaders, policymakers, and academic experts will join as panelists to delve into topics such as intelligent technologies (e.g., AI, machine learning) and sustainable development (e.g., ESG, green finance). Accepted papers from the conference will have the opportunity to submit to special issues of the Pacific Basin Finance Journal, Sun Yat-sen Management Review, or Journal of Social Sciences and Philosophy.   • Modeling and forecasting asset return and volatility
  • Quantitative trading and investment
  • Venture capital, innovations, and entrepreneurship
  • Other topics related to financial markets

Submission Guidelines:

  1. Submissions must be full papers. Please upload your manuscript to the submission system at https://forms.gle/SQGLspd7tRkb4T1G6 by March 24, 2025 (Monday).
  2. Papers may be submitted in either Chinese or English.
  3. At least one co-author must be a current (2025) individual or lifetime member of the Financial Engineering Association of Taiwan. Submissions failing to meet this criterion will not be reviewed.

Special Issues:

The Pacific-Basin Finance Journal (PBFJ), Sun Yat-sen Management Review, and Journal of Social Sciences and Philosophy will provide special issues for the conference. Authors presenting in the conference may choose to submit their papers for consideration in these special issues. Detailed submission guidelines are available at the following websites:

  • Notification of acceptance: May 1, 2025 (Thursday)
  • Online registration deadline: May 31, 2025 (Saturday)
