[Scholarship] 2026 Fall Semester Xin-Chuan Tutoring Scholarship

Eligibility:
Current students of the department who are enthusiastic about service, approachable, dedicated, perseverant, and willing to assist disadvantaged children in changing their future through academic tutoring.

Number of Recipients and Scholarship Amount:
12 recipients/Per Round. Each recipient will receive NT$24,500. In return, recipients are required to provide 70 hours of tutoring service for disadvantaged children.

Funding Source:
Donations from alumni of the Department of Finance.

Tutoring Location:
Xin-Chuan Second-Hand Bookstore, Minxiong Township, Chiayi County. Applicants are responsible for arranging their own transportation.

Application Period and Announcement of Results:

First Round:
Applications are accepted from December 15 to December 31 each year.
Tutoring will take place from March to June of the following year, three days per week, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Second Round:
Applications are accepted from May 15 to May 31 each year.
Tutoring will take place from October of the same year to January of the following year, three days per week, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Application results for each round will be announced in late January and late June each year.

Required Documents:

  1. Application form
  2. Service proposal
  3. Volunteer commitment form for 70 hours of service
  4. Photocopy of student ID card
  5. Proof of financial hardship, if applicable
  6. Academic transcript for all previous semesters
